Printable Menu Planner

kitchen planner display

I’m always trying to figure out what we’re going to eat for dinner throughout the week, and I am constantly asked by my husband what we’re having for dinner every night. So, I finally got around to making our Menu Planner so that I could stay on top of meals throughout the week. Print off your Menu Planner, put it in a frame, and use a dry erase marker to write down your meals each week.

Now, all I need to do now is start planning ahead! I’d love to hear what some of your family’s favorite recipes are!

These also go great with the Printable Recipe Cards I shared with you last week! If you haven’t downloaded yours yet, grab them here.

2015 Printable Calendar

Calendar Print

I was asked to create a calendar for the girls in young women so we could include all the upcoming activities throughout the year, and wanted to share this with anyone else who needed one! It’s simple and is great to use in organizations or for personal use. Below the calendar is a section for “notes” and “things to do, which I have found to be useful, especially when there is not enough room to fit everything you need to in the calendar box.

Make sure when you print the file, that you select “fit”/”fit on page” in the sizing options. I hope this helps keep you organized throughout the year!

Printable Recipe Cards

recipe displayMy sister is currently getting her Masters at Cal State Long Beach and has a limited amount of time to cook for herself while she’s studying. For Christmas, I wanted to put together some recipe cards that included fast and somewhat healthy meals for her. I’ve created 5 different colored recipe cards. Pick your favorite color, or use all 5 for different types of recipes (breakfast, snacks, lunch, dinner & dessert).

Come Follow Me: What do we know about the nature of the Godhead Lesson Handouts

godhead-display

I recently got called to be the 1st counselor of the Young Women’s program in our ward (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints), and I’m so excited!! I’m giving the lesson tomorrow on “What do we know about the nature of the Godhead” and I thought I’d share the handouts I’ve made for the girls. I hope this helps with your lesson and will help your girls understand the importance of the Godhead.

Perfect for keeping in your scriptures.

Note: I was originally planning on having the quote by Jefferey R. Holland and the scripture handout be back to back, but for some reason when I converted it into a PDF it was off the alignment. I resolved to printing them side by side so you can fold it over like a book and maybe have the girls write some notes on the blank side, or you can laminate them together so you have them back to back.  Any advice on how to get it to print back to back while converting it file to a PDF from Illustrator would be greatly appreciated!!!

First things first, Happy New Year! I hope you all had a fabulous 2014 and have an even better 2015! With my husband being home the last couple of weeks, a trip to Disneyland, Christmas, and celebrating our baby’s 1st birthday, I am finally getting back to blogging. Since it’s Friday, it’s time to share my Friday Favorites for the week. With the New Year finally here, it’s time for a change of scenery in our home.

If you’re looking to save some money on frames and not afraid to get a little dirty, check out your local thrift store and you can find some great deals on some old frames.  Sand them down and either spray paint or paint them with chalk paint you can get at your local craft store. I personally like spray painting because it gives you a smoother look at goes on a little faster. Here are some of my favorite Home Decor Printables!

Thanksgiving Kids Hats – Free Printables

Thanksgiving Printable Hats pic

I’m so excited that Thanksgiving is almost here! These hats are easy to print out and put together to wear for the Turkey Trot or feel like Pilgrims, Indians or even a Turkey as they eat their Thanksgiving feast. I’ve created two versions of each, one to print out and assemble together quickly, or let the kids color them before dinner. These Thanksgiving kids hats work best on cardstock or a heavy form of paper, and can be assembled with glue or tape. Your kids will love pretending they were actually at the first Thanksgiving with these fun hats!
